For the last few months my own fitness training routine that I had for nearly 3 years, among all other things, has been totally disrupted, partially due to COVID, partially due to my own choice of shifting my priority TEMPORARILY. โฃ

Although I was still making sure to fit in my exercise a couple of times a week during that period, it is still not as easy as one wouldโve thought to try to bring my workout routine back. โฃ

Back in May, I posted about getting back on track. Here I am right in the middle of this process. โฃ

SO WE HAVE ALL BEEN THERE.โฃ
Hard to drag yourself out of bed when an alarm clock rings too early in the morning.โฃ
โฃ
Complete physical and mental exhaustion after a long day.โฃ
โฃ
That moment when you simply canโt bear the thought of getting your workout in. Those are the moments that we typically cave. When we give ourselves permission to say โtomorrow.โโฃ

And the cycle repeats.โฃ
โฃ
To make it even worse, itโs also usually the scenario that involves making quick, convenient, and often less than healthy food choices.โฃ

This cycle causes consistent weight gain, poor health, and months or years of frustration.โฃ
โฃ
It leads us down a road that can be incredibly hard for people to return from.โฃ
โฃ
So, I want to tell you what will make all the difference when you have that experience of just NOT wanting to…โฃ

Because hitting snooze and sleeping in or driving to the gym vs home after work is all a choice.โฃ

When I picked up the Barbell yesterday to complete my GLUTES DAY, I went through the same resistance in my mind. But I know that if I didnโt push through at that moment, my โBack on trackโ goal will be one day further away from me. So I made the choice, the choice that will get me closer to the routine I want to go back to. โฃ
